In Arizona Fall League action, the Mesa Solar Sox scored one run in the second, four in the fourth, and two in the ninth to beat Phoenix 7-5. Mesa now improved to 5-13 on the season, needing ten hits to score the seven runs.
There are several Los Angeles Dodgers playing for the Sox, and here's how they performed:
Andres Santiago started for the Solar Sox, pitching four innings, giving up four hits, two runs (both earned), striking out three and walking two. Santiago earned the win, his first of Fall League play as he improved to 1-1 on the season.
Eric Eadington pitched an inning of relief, giving up two hits, one earned run, and two strikeouts. Hitting from the ninth spot and playing at second base, Rafael Ynoa managed three hits on four at-bats, including one double and two RBIs off a two-out hit. Catcher Gorman Erickson scored a run after drawing a walk, striking out once.
