Dodgers Vs. Nationals Rained Out Wednesday

The Dodgers' last doubleheader was on April 27, 2010 at Citi Field against the New York Mets.

The Los Angeles Dodgers and Washingon Nationals were able to avoid the rain long enough to get a game in on Tuesday night. Unfortunately, they weren't so lucky, as Wednesday's game at Nationals Park in Washington D.C. has been rained out. The two teams will play a traditional doubleheader on Thursday afternoon, beginning as 10:05 a.m. PDT.

Dana Eveland was scheduled to start Wednesday for the Dodgers, facing Chien-Ming Wang of the Nationals. Thursday was originally scheduled to have Chad Billingsley face the left-hander Ross Detwiler. Presumably these four pitchers will start in the doubleheader on Thursday, though which game for each Dodger is not yet known. Wang will start game one, and Detwiler game two for the Nationals, per Bill Ladson of MLB.com.

The last doubleheader for the Dodgers was on April 27, 2010 at Citi Field against the New York Mets. It included the makeup of a rainout from the night before. The Dodgers had a game at Petco Park against the San Diego Padres suspended this season on April 8, and the game was completed on April 9, before the next scheduled game was played.
