The Los Angeles Dodgers open a four-game road series against the Washington Nationals on Monday morning. Hiroki Kuroda gets the Labor Day start for the Dodgers, facing John Lannan for the Nationals. Here are the starting lineups for the series opener:
The Dodgers took two of three games against the Nationals at Dodger Stadium in July, with the Dodgers' only loss coming on July 22. Lannan beat Kuroda in that game, and even hit a two-run home run off Kuroda. The Nationals have lost 10 of their last 12 games.
Washington plans to call up Craig Stammen, Yunesky Maya, Atahualpa Severino, Corey Brown, Brad Peacock and Stephen Lombardozzi on Tuesday. Patrick Reddington of Federal Baseball has the details.
Monday morning's 10:05 a.m. PDT game will be televised by Prime Ticket. For more Dodgers news and information, be sure to read True Blue LA.
