Clayton Kershaw at 23 years old is having a fantastic season. He continued his great run Monday night with a complete-game win over the Padres, his 11th win in his last 13 starts. Kershaw won the National League Pitcher of the Month award in July, and he has continued on that path in August.

Clayton Kershaw continued his run at the National League Cy Young Award on Monday night, pitching a complete game as the Los Angeles Dodgers defeated the San Diego Padres 5-1 in the opening game of a three-game series at Dodger Stadium. Kershaw struck out five in the win, tying his career high of 212 set last season.
