Dodgers Lose Sixth Straight To Giants, 5-3
In what has become a broken record, the Dodgers lost again to the Giants Tuesday night. A two-run double in the bottom of the seventh inning by rookie Brandon Belt provided the winning margin, leading San Francisco to a 5-3 victory, the sixth straight defeat by the Dodgers at the hands of the Giants. It is the longest losing streak the Dodgers have had against their rivals since 1969.

Dodgers Vs. Giants: Dodgers Release Marcus Thames, SF Trades For Jeff Keppinger, Recalls Brandon Belt, Plus Starting Lineups
The Dodgers have lost five straight games to the Giants this season, and three straight games overall, and look to snap both streaks Tuesday night at AT&T Park in San Francisco.Before the game, the Giants acquired infielder Jeff Keppinger from Houston for minor league pitchers Henry Sosa and Jason Stoffel. In addition, San Francisco optioned Hector Sanchez and recalled first baseman Brandon Belt from Triple A Fresno.
