Dodgers Vs. Phillies Starting Lineups: Rubby De La Rosa, Dee Gordon Make First Major League Starts

The Dodgers look to get back into the win column Tuesday night battling the Phillies in the second game of a three-game series. Rubby De La Rosa makes his first major league start for the Dodgers, while Roy Oswalt starts for the Phillies. In addition to De La Rosa, the Dodgers are also starting shortstop Dee Gordon in his first major league start. Here are tonight's starting lineups:

Dodgers (28-33)

Gordon SS
Blake 3B
Ethier RF
Kemp CF
Uribe 2B
Loney 1B
Navarro C
Sands LF
De La Rosa P

Gordon is the first Dodger to bat leadoff in his first major league start since Jose Offerman on August 19, 1990. Offerman hit a home run in his first major league at-bat, off Dennis Martinez, but don't expect much power from the 150-pound Gordon.

Phillies (36-24)

Victorino CF
Polanco 3B
Utley 2B
Howard 1B
Ibanez LF
Ruiz C
Brown RF
Valdez SS
Oswalt P

Tonight's 4:05 p.m. PDT game will be televised by KCAL and MLB Network. For more news and information on the Dodgers, or on tonight's game, be sure to read the SB Nation blog True Blue LA.
