Dodgers Vs. Phillies Starting Lineups: L.A. Promotes Dee Gordon, Activates Uribe, Thames, Hawksworth, DFA Jay Gibbons

The Dodgers are in search of their fourth straight series win, but have to do so against the Phillies, who have the best record in baseball. Ted Lilly pitches the opener for the Dodgers, against Cliff Lee for Philadelphia. Before the game tonight, the Dodgers made several roster moves, including calling up shortstop prospect Dee Gordon.

The Dodgers also activated three players from the disabled list: infielder Juan Uribe, outfielder Marcus Thames, and relief pitcher Blake Hawksworth. To make room, the Dodgers optioned infielder Ivan DeJesus and pitcher John Ely, and designated Jay Gibbons and Juan Castro for assignment. Ely threw 58 pitches in relief on Sunday and is normally a starter, so he was an easy call to head back to Albuquerque. Here are tonight's starting lineups:

Dodgers (28-32)

Carroll SS
Miles 2B
Thames LF
Kemp CF
Uribe 3B
Blake 1B
Sands RF
Barajas C
Lilly P

Phillies (35-24)

Victorino CF
Polanco 3B
Utley 2B
Howard 1B
Francisco LF
Ruiz C
Brown RF
Valdez SS
Lee P

Tonight's 4:05 p.m. PDT game will be televised by KCAL and ESPN. For more news and information on the Dodgers, or on tonight's game, be sure to read the SB Nation blog True Blue LA.
