Andre Ethier Extends Hitting Streak To 30 Games, One Shy Of Dodgers' Record
Andre Ethier of the Dodgers extended his hitting streak to 30 games Friday night, with a first-inning line drive single to center field off Jon Niese of the Mets at Citi Field in New York. Ethier's streak is now just one game shy of tying the longest hitting streak in Dodgers' franchise history, set by Willie Davis, who hit in 31 straight games in 1969.
