Dodgers Spring Training: Jon Garland Out 4-6 Weeks With Strained Oblique
For the first time in nearly a decade, Jon Garland will be on the disabled list. The Dodgers' starter, who left yesterday's game in the second inning with an injury to his side, has been diagnosed with a strained left oblique, and is expected to miss at least four to six weeks.

I guess it was a good thing that general manager Ned Colletti made sure the Dodgers came into camp with six veteran starting pitchers. One of those starters, Jon Garland, left his start on Wednesday after just 1 2/3 innings, suffering an apparent oblique injury.
