The Los Angeles Clippers released their 2012-2013 NBA schedule on Thursday, and they open on Halloween night against the Memphis Grizzlies, the team they beat in the first round of the 2012 playoffs. Here is a look at the key dates on the Clippers schedule next season.
Chris Paul and the Clippers battle the Los Angeles Lakers in four battles of Staples Center, including a designated Clippers home game on April 7 nationally televised on ABC. The Clippers also play host to the Lakers on January 4, with the Lakers as the home team on November 2 and February 14.
That April 7 game against the Lakers is one of four games for the Clippers on ABC. They also have Sunday national television games on February 10 at Madison Square Garden against the New York Knicks, March 3 hosting the Oklahoma City Thunder, and March 17 hosting the Knicks.
The Clippers host the Denver Nuggets on Christmas night on ESPN, one of nine games on the network for Blake Griffin and company.
LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, and the Miami Heat come to Los Angeles on November 14, and the Clippers visit the defending NBA champions on February 8.
New Clipper forward Lamar Odom will get the opportunity to play on TNT nine different times, including April 16 hosting the Portland Trail Blazers, the penultimate game of the season for the Clippers.
The Grammy road trip for the Clippers runs from January 30 to February 11 and will take them to eight cities in 13 days: Minnesota, Toronto, Boston, Washington D.C., Orlando, Miami, New York, and Philadelphia.
That's 22 games for the Clippers on either ABC, TNT, or ESPN.
