Blake Griffin's Knee Surgery Successful; Gives Him Chance To Concentrate On Hosting Sports Bloopers Show

Blake Griffin's surgery to repair a torn meniscus in his knee went well, according to reports, and though he must miss out on the chance to represent the U.S. in the 2012 Summer Olympics, he should be ready for training camp for the Clippers heading into next season, according to Clippers Coach Vinny Del Negro. "We're relieved that this does not affect Blake's ability to be ready in time for training camp," he said. "Missing out on the Olympic experience will be tough for him to take. I know how dedicated he was to doing that. We're glad we can get this fixed now and take advantage of the available time for him to fully recover."

However, during his unexpected time off, Griffin should have a great opportunity to host a series of web episodes by AwesomenessTV where he breaks down his favorite sports bloopers. The bloopers are funny, but it's a good thing Griffin is good at basketball, because at this point, I'm not seeing a possible career change. Check out Episode Four of that series after the jump!
