Los Angeles Clippers Offseason: Clippers Frontrunners For Darko Milicic, According To Report

The Los Angeles Clippers are one of the frontrunners for new free agent Darko Milicic, according to a report from Marc Spears. The Minnesota Timberwolves used their amnesty clause on Milicic in order to clear up cap room for their pursuit of Nicolas Batum. Milicic then went unclaimed on waivers and became a free agent on Saturday. The other teams in the running for the center's services are the Boston Celtics and the Brooklyn Nets, according to Spears.

Milicic was drafted by the Timberwolves second overall in the 2003 NBA Draft. In 2012 he averaged 3.3 rebounds and 4.6 points per game, compared to 6.0 rebounds and 4.2 points per game in his career.
