The Los Angeles Clippers on Saturday hosted their first NBA playoff game in six years, as the Memphis Grizzlies are at Staples Center for Game 3 of their first round playoff series in Los Angeles. The crowd was adorned in red t-shirts given out by Prime Ticket, and was loud for most of the first half.
But the crowd might have been at their loudest with 2:54 remaining in the first half, as Chris Paul hooked up with Blake Griffin on an alley-oop dunk that brought the house down.
Paul had 14 points and seven assists in the first half, while Griffin scored 12. Griffin got a steal, then dunked the ball at the first half buzzer to widen the Clippers' lead to four at halftime, 50-46.
