It has all come down to this. After a new-look Los Angeles Clippers team took the city by storm in a lockout-shortened 2011-12 NBA season that at times appeared storybook, they will play an all-or-nothing elimination game on Sunday morning. The Clips' attempts to clinch things at the Staples Center on Friday night came up short and the Memphis Grizzlies have forced one final game.
The Clippers will be a bit banged up as they head back to Memphis but they still have the ability to lock down the win and advance to the Western Conference semifinals. If they take the loss, however, they will pack their bags and head home for good, with no guarantee that this talented team will remain intact next season.
Sunday's Game 7 will tip off at 10:00 a.m. PT and will be televised nationally on ABC.
