Marc Gasol had 13 points and seven rebounds in the first half to lead the Memphis Grizzlies to a 42-38 halftime lead over the Los Angeles Clippers in Game 6 of their first round NBA playoff series at Staples Center in Los Angeles. The Clippers lead the series three games to two, and Friday is their second attempt to close out Memphis and advance to the second round.
The Clippers got sparks off the bench from Reggie Evans, who had eight rebounds and four points in 13 minutes; and from Kenyon Martin, who scored eight points on 4-of-5 shooting in nine minutes, including this dunk:
The Clippers were behind 25-16 after the first quarter. Memphis committed 11 first half turnovers, which helped the Clippers get back into the game. Chris Paul had six points and four assists for the Clippers, who shot just 37.0%.
