The Los Angeles Clippers have won seven of their last eight games, and return home Saturday night to host the Sacramento Kings at Staples Center. The Clippers have beaten the Kings in both matchups this season, including a 93-85 win Thursday night in Sacramento.
A win for the Clippers Saturday night would pull them to within a game of the Los Angeles Lakers in the Pacific Division with 10 games remaining, though the Lakers own the tiebreaker by virtue of winning the season series with the Clippers (33-22).
Randy Foye scored 20 points to lead the Clippers to victory on Thursday over the Kings (19-36) in Sacramento. The Clippers had five players score in double figures in the win, their 33rd of the season, surpassing last season's win total. At 33-22, the Clippers have their second best record after 55 games in franchise history, surpassed only by the 1974-1975 Buffalo Braves, who were 36-19 after 55 contests.
Sacramento has lost two straight and seven of their last nine games.
