The Los Angeles Clippers look for their third straight win on Saturday afternoon as they return home to host the Golden State Warriors at Staples Center. The Clippers look to keep pace with the Los Angeles Lakers in the Pacific Division, and at the very least remain as no worse than the No. 4 seed to secure home court advantage in the first round of the playoffs.
Chris Paul's first game as a Clipper came on December 25, a 105-86 road win on Christmas night that started the Clippers' season off on a high note. But the Clippers have lost their last two meetings against the Warriors, including a 97-93 home loss on March 11.
The Clippers have a brief two-game homestand, which ends Monday night with another showdown with Western Conference top dog Oklahoma City. The Clippers are 21-9 at home this season and are 37-14 in their last 51 home games.
Saturday's 12:30 p.m. PDT game will be televised by Prime Ticket. For more news and notes on Clippers basketball, be sure to read Clips Nation.
