The Los Angeles Clippers continue their six-game road trip Monday night against the Minnesota Timberwolves at Target Center in Minneapolis, the fourth game in five nights for a Clippers team with a brutal March schedule. The Clippers play 20 games in 31 days in March, including six back-to-back sets and one back-to-back-to-back set of games.
The Clippers are 2-1 in the first three games of their road trip, including an overtime win in Houston on Sunday night. This is the third time the Clippers have played four games in five nights this season. In the previous two times, they have lost the fourth game: 101-98 on January 20 to Minnesota, and 112-91 on February 2 to Denver.
The Timberwolves are 2-0 against the Clippers this season, and both games were at Staples Center.
The Clippers had six players score in double figures in Sunday's win in Houston, the fourth time they have done so this season. The Clippers are 4-0 in those games.
Today's 5 p.m. PST game will be televised by Fox Sports West. For more news and notes on Clippers basketball, be sure to read Clips Nation.
