Clippers Vs. Jazz: L.A. Seeks 5th Straight Win

The Clippers have split two games with the Jazz this season, both in Utah.

The Los Angeles Clippers look for their fifth straight victory on Saturday night as they host the Utah Jazz at Staples Center. The game ends one of the toughest scheduling stretches in franchise history for the Clippers, who will play their 20th and final game in March tonight.

The last team to play 20 games in a calendar month was the Cincinnati Royals in February 1967. The Clippers, thanks to their late month run, are 10-9 so far in March.

Chris Paul hit a driving layup with five seconds remaining on Friday night to give the Clippers a 98-97 win over Portland. This is the third and final meeting of the season between the Clippers and Jazz, as the two clubs have split two games in Utah earlier this season.

Utah has lost two straight games and three of their last four contests. The Jazz (27-25) are in ninth place in the Western Confernce, one game out of a playoff spot.

Saturday night's 7:30 p.m. PDT game will be televised by Prime Ticket. For more news and information on Clippers basketball, be sure to read Clips Nation.
