Clippers Vs. Suns Final Score: Los Angeles Comes Up Short Against Phoenix, 81-78

The Los Angeles Clippers continued their recent struggles on Friday night when they visited the Phoenix Suns. After leading early, a big third quarter by the home team proved to be the difference as the Clippers lost by a final score of 81-78. The Clippers are now 9-8 on the road and have lost three of their last four games.

Los Angeles jumped out to a 21-17 lead after the first quarter and entered halftime with a 35-32 lead. It all fell apart in the third quarter, when the Suns outscored the Clips, 31-17. The Clippers battled back in the fourth quarter and managed to come within two points in the final minute of play, but could get no closer.

Blake Griffin led the Clippers scorers with 17 points, also grabbing seven rebounds. Chris Paul added 16 points and five assists. Jared Dudley led all scorers with 22 points. Marcin Gortat picked up a big double-double for the Suns with 18 points and 14 boards.
