For the second time in three weeks, the Los Angeles Clippers welcome the Denver Nuggets to town, hosting their Western Conference foe Wednesday night at Staples Center. The Clippers are looking to snap just their second two-game losing streak of the season in their final game before the All-Star break.
This is the third of four meetings between these two teams this season, and the road team has won both affairs. The Clippers snapped a nine-game losing streak in Denver with a 109-105 win on January 29, then the Nuggets blasted a Clippers team playing its fourth game in five nights on February 2, 112-91.
Notes
Nuggets center Nene is listed as doubtful for Wednesday's game with a left calf strain. At 19-11, the Clippers are have their second best record after 30 games in franchise history, trailing only the 1974-1975 Buffalo Braves (21-9). The Clippers have outrebounded their opponent in seven straight games.
