Clippers Vs. Wizards Game Score: Caron Butler, Blake Griffin Give L.A. 50-47 Halftime Lead

Caron Butler scored 11 points in an ugly first half, leading the Los Angeles Clippers to a 50-47 lead over the Washington Wizards on Wednesday night at Staples Center. Butler was quite efficient in the opening half, making three of five field goals, including 2-for-3 on three-pointers and 3-for-3 from the free throw line.

Blake Griffin added 10 points and eight rebounds for the Clippers, who shot 43.9% (18 for 41) in the first half, including 44.4% (four for nine) from beyond the arc. The Clippers outrebounded the Wizards 24-18 in the first half

JaVale McGee scored 13 points and grabbed three rebounds for the Wizards, who shot 42.5% (17 for 40) in the first half. John Wall had nine points, eight assists, and four rebounds, while Jamal Crawford added 12 points in 16 minutes off the bench for Washington.

Chris Paul had nine points and four assists in the opening half, but also picked up three personal fouls. Paul also drew a technical foul late in the second quarter.
