Chris Paul scored 12 points and had eight assists in the first half, leading the Los Angeles Clippers to a 55-37 halftime lead over the Charlotte Bobcats at Time Warner Cable Arena in Charlotte, North Carolina. The Clippers shot a blistering 55.3% (21 for 38) in the first half.
Randy Foye added 10 points on 4-of-5 shooting for the Clippers, who have won six of their last seven road contests. DeAndre Jordan had six rebounds and two blocked shots in 13 minutes to go with his four points, as the Clippers outrebounded the Bobcats 24-14 in the opening 24 minutes.
Blake Griffin added eight points and five rebounds for Los Angeles.
Former Clipper Corey Maggette and rookie Kemba Walker each scored nine points in the first half to lead Charlotte, who shot just 32.5% from the field (13 for 40) in the first half and missed all five of their three-point attempts. The Bobcats have lost 13 straight games and 19 of their last 20 contests.
