The Los Angeles Clippers continue their road trek with the only back-to-back set of games on their six-game road trip, but there is no better team to face in the second game in as many nights than the Charlotte Bobcats, owners of the worst record in the NBA.
Chris Paul hit the game-winner Friday night in Philadelphia with 3.2 seconds left, giving the Clippers (16-8) their fifth win in their last six road games. In four of those wins, the Clippers have overcome deficits of at least 10 points, in Denver, Utah, Orlando, and Philadelphia. The Clippers had four such road comeback wins in the last four seasons combined.
If the Clippers win on Saturday, they would be 17-8, matching the 1974-1975 Buffalo Braves for the best 25-game start in franchise history.
Charlotte (3-23) has lost 13 consecutive games and 19 of their last 20 contests. Eight of their last 10 losses have been by at least 10 points. The Bobcats are without starting guards Gerald Henderson, missing his fourth game with a right hamstring strain, and D.J. Augustin, missing his 10th straight game with right big toe inflammation.
This is the only meeting between the Clippers and Bobcats this season.
