Clippers vs. 76ers: A Battle of Two First-Place Teams in Philly

The Clippers travel to the City of Brotherly Love to take on the streaking 76ers and both teams look to improve on their divisional leads.

The red-hot 18-8 Philadelphia 76ers will host Chris Paul, Blake Griffin and the Los Angeles Clippers Friday night in a battle of two first place teams. The host 76ers lead the Atlantic Division by 3.5 games and the Clips lead the Pacific by 1.5 over the cross-town Lakers. The Sixers are coming off a home loss to the San Antonio Spurs 100-90 and the Clippers are looking to bounce back after losing to the Cleveland Cavaliers 99-92. Both teams losses came on Wednesday night, so both squads will have a day of rest behind them.

The Clippers continue their seven game road trip at Philadelphia, where the Sixers finish up a 15-game stretch that has included 13 home-games. The Sixers will look to improve on a 13-4 home record and the Clippers look to get over .500 on the road, as they sit at 5-5 in away games this year.

It should be a tough matchup for the Clippers on the road as they face a team that's been playing very well at home in the last few weeks. Stay tuned for more on the game, right here.
