Clippers vs. Jazz preview: Utah will try not to be victim No. 17 of L.A.'s streak

The Los Angeles Clippers will have a 17-game winning streak on their hands if they can knock off the Utah Jazz for the second time in three days.

USA TODAY Sports

The Los Angeles Clippers will look to continue their monumental winning streak against the team that gave them the most problems during the run so far: the Utah Jazz.

The Clippers had to erase a 19-point second-half deficit on Friday to knock off the Jazz, 116-114, in Salt Lake City, and now the Jazz travel to Los Angeles to face the Clippers on their home floor, hoping to fare better than the other nine teams to come through Clipperland during the streak. The Clippers have defeated those nine squads by an average of 15.5 points, allowing their starters to turn into cheerleaders as they pile up rout after rout.

The Clippers continue to make history as their streak continues and history will be on the line once again against the Jazz as the Clippers look to become just the third team in NBA history to finish 16-0 over the course of a month. They play a struggling Jazz team that is below .500 at 15-16 and in the midst of an eight-game stretch where they've only pulled out two wins.

The Clippers have the best record in the NBA at 24-6 and have a point differential of +10.1, also good for first in the league.
