2012 NBA schedule: Lakers travel to Utah, Clippers play three

The Los Angeles Clippers will play three games in four nights to open the second week of the regular season.

The Los Angeles Clippers will play three games in four nights, starting on Monday when they host Kyrie Irving and the Cleveland Cavaliers at the Staples Center.

Irving is averaging 23.7 points, 4.0 rebounds and 4.7 assists on 50.9 percent shooting from the field in three games this season. The Cavaliers are 1-2 on the season and travel to Los Angeles having lost two in a row.

The Clippers will host the Spurs on Wednesday for the first time since San Antonio eliminated them in four games in last year's playoffs. The Clippers will then travel to Portland to take on the Trail Blazers in the second game of the TNT double-header.

After playing four games in six days to open the regular season, the Lakers are off until Wednesday when they will travel to Utah to play the Jazz.

Wednesday Nov. 7

Thursday Nov. 8
Thunder vs Bulls at 5 p.m. on TNT
Clippers vs Trail Blazers at 7:30 p.m. ON TNT
