The Los Angeles Clippers begin play on Sunday in first place in the Pacific Division at 10-6, a game ahead of their crosstown rival Los Angeles Lakers. Those two teams figure to duke it out at the top of the division for the rest of the season, with little challenge from the Phoenix Suns, Golden State Warriors, or Sacramento Kings.
But what the Clippers, and the Lakers, need to rectify is their performance away from home. The Clippers are just 1-4 on the road this season, the sixth worst road record in the NBA.
