NBA Power Rankings, Week 4: Lakers, Clippers Fall In ESPN Rankings After Rough Week

The latest NBA power rankings are out at ESPN, with both Marc Stein and John Hollinger weighing in by ranking all 30 NBA teams. The Los Angeles Clippers went 3-2 in a week without point guard Chris Paul, and dropped from No. 6 to No. 11 in Stein's rankings, while the Los Angeles Lakers struggled their way from No. 7 to No. 15 after losing three of four games last week.

"Kobe might be right. Bryant, Pau and Bynum might still be as dangerous as any Big Three," wrote Stein. "But if there's nothing else behind 'em, this won't work. The case for trading Gasol for a couple of quality youngs, after 11 straight games under 100 points, is only getting stronger."

Hollinger's rankings, which are statistically based, ranked the Lakers No. 9 and the Clippers all the way at No. 15. The two teams face off at Staples Center on Wednesday evening with Lakers playing host.
