Chris Paul Injury: Clippers Point Guard Likely Out Against Timberwolves

As Los Angeles Clippers guard Chris Paul continues to struggle with a hamstring injury, Blake Griffin and Co. might be on their own again as the Orange County Register reports CP3 will likely be sidelined once more Friday night as the Clips take on the Minnesota Timberwolves at Staples Center.

Head coach Vinny Del Negro didn’t definitively state that Paul was out tonight, but he did mention that it was unlikely he would recover in time to suit up against Ricky Rubio, Kevin Love and the rest of the Wolves this evening. The team hopes Paul will be ready by Sunday when the team hosts the Toronto Raptors.

In other injury news Brian Cook will not suit up Friday night, leaving the Clip Show that much more short handed against a talented and deep Minnesota squad.
