The Los Angeles Clippers got off to a hot start, building a 35-19 victory after one quarter in Dallas against the Mavericks, but Dallas controlled the rest of the game, and pulled away for a 107-96 win at American Airlines Arena. Dallas outscored the Clippers by nine points in each of the final three quarters. Dirk Nowitzki nearly had a triple-double, with 20 points, eight boards, and seven assists for the Mavericks, who are still trying for the No. 2 seed in the Western Conference for the NBA playoffs.
Mo Williams led the Clippers with 29 points, including five three-pointers. Blake Griffin had 23 points, nine rebounds, and six assists in defeat. The Clippers had 21 turnovers. The Clippers have two games remaining: tomorrow night in Houston and next Wednesday at Staples Center against Memphis.
