Clippers Lose To Bucks 102-78, Continue Downward Spiral

Milwaukee, WI (Sports Network) - Carlos Delfino hit seven three-pointers on his way to a 26-point, nine-rebound effort, and the Bucks pulled away from the Clippers early in the fourth quarter to earn a 102-78 victory. Brandon Jennings poured in 20 points and John Salmons added 16 points and 12 assists for Milwaukee, which snapped a three-game skid by outscoring the Clippers by 18 points over the final 12 minutes. Blake Griffin totaled 19 points and 12 rebounds, and Baron Davis went for 22 points with six assists as Los Angeles fell to 1-6 to start its 11-game road trip.

Jon Brockman's late tip-in gave the hosts a 71-65 lead heading to the final stanza, and the Bucks -- namely Delfino -- quickly used the three-point ball to blow the game open. DeAndre Jordan opened the fourth quarter scoring with a dunk, but the Clippers went the next seven minutes without hitting a field goal. Delfino hit three-pointers on back-to-back possessions to start a 14-1 run that put the Bucks on top, 85-68, with eight minutes to play, and it remained a double-digit affair from there.

The Clippers committed 20 turnovers to Milwaukee's 11. Jennings had half of Milwaukee's 22 points in the first quarter, and the Bucks never trailed in the second frame en route to a 47-45 lead at halftime.
