Lakers Vs. Clippers: Visiting Lake Show Lead 36-33 After One

It's not just the color of the court and uniforms that has changed since Monday, the big story pre-game was that Kobe Bryant had injured his wrist and would not participate in the Los Angeles Lakers and the Los Angels Clippers playing in their last warmup game. In four days the Lakers will host the Bulls and the Clippers will head up to Oakland. However, things may not be as bleak for the Lakers as was made out after the first preseason game.

Former Clipper Steve Blake lead the Lakers with 9 points, finding the hot hand at the end of the quarter. Devin Ebanks and Andrew Bynum had 8 points each. Derrick Fisher lead the Lakers with 5 assists.

Blake Griffin lead the home Clippers with 8 points. Maurice Williams was the runner up scorer with 8 points. Blake Griffin and Chris Paul both had four assists, as the two Clipper stars are doing a good job getting the offense going.

Derrick Caracter of the Lakers and Eric Bledsoe of the Clippers were the two other roster players who did not dress tonight. Like Monday night, the Staples Center is sold out. Of course, had this not been a strike year these would have been regular season games. Monday night's simulcast on NBA TV was the highest rated broadcast in the history of the network.
