If this trade goes through, the New Orleans Hornets have managed to land the best possible deal they can probably ever get. They have two quality bigs in Al-Farouq Aminu and Chris Kaman, a budding star in Eric Gordon who can prop up New Orleans, and that unprotected draft pick from Minnesota should land them a quality talent. It's a big-time haul for the Hornets.
This was a league-made deal. David Stern might be savveir than we thought!
As for the Clippers? They have CP3 to pair up with DeAndre Jordan and Blake Griffin, two young talents who should be able to be willing recipients of his alley-oop lobs. Prepare for all the entertainment to be centered around the Clippers in the Staples Center for once.
