DeAndre Jordan To Sign Offer Sheet With Golden State Warriors Per Report, Los Angeles Clippers Expected To Match

The Los Angeles Clippers have said they want center DeAndre Jordan back, and now they know the price. The Golden State Warriors are expected on Sunday to sign Jordan to an offer sheet worth $40 million over four years, per Matt Steinmetz of CSN Bay Area. The Clippers would have three days to match the offer sheet for the restricted free agent.

The Clippers have said they will match any offer to Jordan, and had offered him a five-year, $40 million contract in recent days, per Broderick Turner of the Los Angeles Times.

Jordan averaged 7.1 points and 7.2 rebounds in 25.6 minutes per game last season, teaming with Blake Griffin for perhaps the most athletic center / power forward combination in the NBA. Griffin and Jordan finished second and third, respectively, in the league in dunks last season, behind only Dwight Howard of the Orlando Magic.

Nearly two-thirds of Jordan's field goal makes were dunks which contributed to his 68.6% shooting percentage. The Clippers were 28-38 in games started by Jordan last season and 4-12 otherwise.
