Clippers Vs. Warriors: Monta Ellis Questionable With Left Ankle Sprain

The Los Angeles Clippers are looking for their seventh straight home win tonight when they host the Golden State Warriors at Staples Center. Monta Ellis sprained his left ankle in last night's win against Sacramento, and is listed as questionable for tonight's game. Ellis is third in the NBA is scoring, averaging 26.0 points per game, and has led Golden State in scoring 26 times in 42 games. He has not missed a game yet this season. Here is a look at tonight's probable starting lineups and injury reports:

Warriors (19-23)

  • Point Guard: Stephen Curry
  • Shooting Guard: Monta Ellis
  • Small Forward: Dorell Wright
  • Power Forward: David Lee
  • Center: Andris Biedrins

Lou Amundson, who missed last game and has only played 16 total minutes in the three games prior to that, is also questionable with a left ankle sprain.

Clippers (16-26)

  • Point Guard: Baron Davis
  • Shooting Guard: Eric Gordon
  • Small Forward: Ryan Gomes
  • Power Forward: Blake Griffin
  • Center: DeAndre Jordan

The usual trio of suspects are on the Clippers injury report: Chris Kaman, who has missed 21 straight games; Brian Cook, who has missed 15 straight games; and Craig Smith, who has missed 14 straight games.

Tonight's 7:30 p.m. PST game will be televised on Prime Ticket.
