Angels Vs. White Sox Final Score: Halos Coast To 6-2 Win

The Los Angeles Angels opened their three-game series against the Chicago White Sox on Friday night with a commanding 6-2 win.

Alejandro De Aza led off the game with a home run to stake Chicago to an early lead, but Ervin Santana was able to limit the damage after that. Kendrys Morales hit his 21st home run of the year in the bottom of the second t o even things up. Albert Pujols drove in a pair of runs with a single in the third inning to make it 3-1 Angels and the home team never looked back.

Torii Hunter continued his late-season RBI onslaught with a two-run single of his own in the bottom of the fourth to make it 5-1 and Mike Trout snapped a mini-power slump with his 28th home run of the year to make it 6-1. The White Sox grabbed one last run in the top of the eighth on a Gordon Beckham single, but the Halos had little trouble with Chicago the rest of the way.

The Angels will try to grab a quick series win with a victory on Saturday.
