The Los Angeles Angels are running out of time to make a run on the AL West title. The Angels open a three-game series against the Texas Rangers on Tuesday, the first game of six over the rest of the month of September. They will also do so without the bat of first baseman Albert Pujols who is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game.

Ryan Dempster looks to continue his strong performance with a Rangers jersey on. He is 6-1 with a 4.11 ERA since coming over from the Chicago Cubs. Dempster has only faced the Angels once in his career, and it didn't exactly go so well. He gave up eight earned runs in just 4.2 innings; although the Rangers would go on to win the game 15-9.
