Angels Vs. Mariners Final Score: Halos Make It 4 In A Row With 9-1 Win

The Los Angeles Angels picked up their fourth straight win on Friday night. They got their three-game series against the Seattle Mariners started on the right foot as they won by a final score of 9-1 at Safeco Field.

The Angels picked up the only offense they would need in the top of the first inning, as Kendrys Morales hit a three-run shot to put the Halos on top 3-0. The blast was his 18th home run of the season.

The Mariners scored their lone run against Dan Haren in the bottom of the first, on an RBI single from John Jaso.

Albert Pujols picked up an RBI single in the top of the second and Morales made it 5-1 in the top of the fourth, giving him four RBI in the game. Torii Hunter hit an RBI double in the top of the sixth for another insurance run. Alberto Callaspo doubled in a run in the top of the ninth and Bobby Wilson followed up with a two-run homer to give the Angels an eight-run lead.

The Angels will go for the series win on Saturday, but they will have to deal with Felix Hernandez.
