Angels Vs. White Sox Series Preview: TV Schedule, Probable Pitchers & More

The Angels continue their road trip with a three-game series against the Chicago White Sox. They'll try to avoid losing any more ground in the AL West over the weekend.

The Los Angeles Angels had an uneven series in Texas, to say the least. They split a four-game series against the first-place Rangers to remain five games out of first place. What's worse, they've now once again fallen behind the Oakland Athletics and sit in third place in the American League West.

The Halos will try to regain some mojo as they continue their road trip by visiting the Chicago White Sox for a three-game series beginning on Friday. The White Sox are 7-3 over their last 10 games and hold a 2.5 game lead in the American League Central. They will definitely not be pushovers.

TV Schedule & Probable Pitchers

Friday's game starts at 5:10 p.m. PT and will be televised on FOX Sports West. You can catch the radio broadcast on KLAA 830. Zack Greinke gets his second start for the Angels, coming off a quality start where the Halos couldn't get enough run support going to avoid him being saddles with a loss. He'll take on Philip Humber, who has been exceedingly fallible since his perfect game earlier in the season. This should be the most favorable pitching matchup for the Angels in the series.

Saturday's first pitch will be at 4:10 p.m. PT and the game will be televised on FOX Sports West. You can catch the radio broadcast on KLAA 830. Ervin Santana took some small steps forward in his last outing in Texas. He will lok for his sixth win as he goes up against right-hander Gavin Floyd, who is 8-9 with a 4.28 ERA.

Sunday's finale starts at 11:10 a.m. PT and will be televised on FOX Sports West and TBS. You can catch the radio broadcast on KLAA 830. Dan Haren gets the start for the Angels and will take on the recently-acquired Francisco Liriano, who is making his second start for the Sox.
