Angels Vs. Tigers Game Preview: Halos Seek 5th Straight Win

The Los Angeles Angels are finally playing up to their potential these past few days, winning four games in a row despite having a couple of guys banged up. The club will go for their fifth straight victory on Saturday as they give the ball to veteran righty Dan Haren. He has really struggled in recent starts while dealing with a lower back issues, although it appears he is feeling strong enough to give it a go this evening.

The Detroit Tigers will hand the ball to young lefty Drew Smyly. He enters the game with a record of 4-3 with a 4.42 ERA, although he's 2-1 with a 6.32 ERA over the course of his last three starts. The Tigers always seem to score runs while Smyly is on the mound, which can't be a good sign for LAA.

First pitch from Comerica Park is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. ET / 4:05 p.m. PT.
