Angels Vs. Rays Game Preview: Zack Greinke Tries To Avoid Sweep

The Los Angeles Angels are looking to halt their current losing skid as they take on the Tampa Bay Rays on Sunday afternoon at Angel Stadium.

The Halos will send Zack Greinke (10-4, 3.81) to the mound to avoid being swept at the hands of the Rays. The 2009 AL Cy Young Award winner finally got himself his first victory with the Angels after allowing four runs in seven innings of work in a 9-6 win over Cleveland on Tuesday. He is is 1-1 with a 5.54 ERA in four starts since coming over from Milwaukee on July 27.

Tampa Bay will counter with Matt Moore (9-7, 3.60 ERA) who continues his tear through the league. He allowed one run and six hits with nine strikeouts in seven innings in his last start, taking a no decision. But the left-hander is 4-1 with a 1.43 ERA in his last six starts and has not allowed a home run in his past eight. Moore is 1-0 with a 1.50 ERA in two starts against Anaheim this season.
