Angels Vs. Orioles Final Score: C.J. Wilson Serves Up Costly Homer In 3-2 Halos Loss

On Friday night, the Los Angeles Angels hosted the Baltimore Orioles in the second game of a four-game series. The two teams swapped homers, but the Angels came up on the losing end by the final score of 3-2.

Mark Trumbo gave the Angels a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the fourth inning, when he hit his 21st home run of the season to right center field.

The lead was short-lived, as Steve Pearce hit a three-run homer of his own to left field in the top of the fifth to stake the Orioles to a 3-1 lead.

Mike Trout was able to get the Halos a run closer as he smacked his 11th home run of the year to center field, but the Angels were unable to get any closer.

C.J. Wilson put together a quality start, allowing three runs on four hits and three walks over seven innings, but the Pearce home run saddled him with the loss. The Angels will try to pick up another win on Saturday to ensure at least a series split.
