Dan Haren Injury Update: Angels Pitcher Set To Start On Sunday

Dan Haren went on the disabled list two weeks ago after revealing that he had been pitching through a stiff back for most of the season. The Los Angeles Angels right-hander has completed his rest and rehab and will return to the rotation just in time.

According to Landon Hall of the Orange County Register, Haren is expected to be activated in time to start Sunday's series finale against the first-place Texas Rangers. If Haren is indeed at full strength, this is a big blessing for the Angels, as they are attempting to gain more ground on the Rangers while they are hosting their American League West division rivals.
