The Los Angeles Angels are coming off a rough 2-5 road trip that saw them drop back-to-back series to the New York Yankees and Detroit Tigers. They will return to Angel Stadium on Friday hoping to get back on the right track. This would be the perfect time to pick up a series win, as they will be hosting the first-place Texas Rangers for a three-game series.

The American League West could receive a shake-up over the next three days. The Angels are six games behind the Rangers and only two games in front of the surging Oakland Athletics. A sweep would bring them to within three games and is certainly what the team is hoping for, but if they're not careful, they could very well find themselves in third place at the end of the weekend.

This will be a crucial series and the time to strike is now.

TV Schedule & Probable Pitchers

Friday's game will begin at 7:05 p.m. PT and will be televised on FOX Sports West. You can catch the radio broadcast on KLAA 830. The Angels will send their ace to the mound in the opener, as Jered Weaver goes for his 12th win. He'll take on the 6-4 Derek Holland, who is coming off a very strong start against the Seattle Mariners.

First pitch on Saturday will be at 1:05 p.m. PT and the game will be televised nationally on FOX. You can catch the radio broadcast on KLAA 830. This will be potentially the most lopsided pitching matchup of the series, as Ervin Santana is still in search of his fifth win and has an ERA hovering near 6.00, while Yu Darvish will be gunning for his 11th win.

Sunday's finale will start at 5:00 p.m. PT and will be televised nationally on ESPN. You can catch the radio broadcast on KLAA 830. The Angels starter for the game is yet to be determined, but Matt Harrison will bring his 12-4 record and 2.87 ERA into the game for the Rangers.
