The Los Angeles Angels look to continue their interleague prowess on Saturday afternoon as they seek their second straight win over the Colorado Rockies at Coors Field in Denver. The Angels beat the Rockies 7-2 on Friday night, and have the best interleague road record since interleague play began in 1997, at 78-59 (.569).
Saturday's 1:10 p.m. PDT game will be televised by Fox Sports West.
Dan Haren gets the start for the Angels on Saturday afternoon, looking for his fourth win of the season. Haren has allowed just three earned runs in his last three starts, with 23 strikeouts and two walks in 21 innings.
Relief pitcher LaTroy Hawkins returns from the disabled list for the Angels after missing 30 games with a broken right pinkie. Bobby Cassevah, who was 1-0 with a 7.20 ERA in four games in relief, was optioned to Triple A Salt Lake.
The Rockies will start Jeff Francis, who they just signed to a major league deal. The southpaw rejoins his original organization, and to make room Colorado designated pitcher Esmil Rogers for assignment. Here are the starting lineups for Saturday's middle game of the series:
