The Los Angeles Angels look to close out their homestand on a high note on Wednesday night as they host the Seattle Mariners in the finale of a three-game series at Angel Stadium in Anaheim. Jerome Williams, who is 8-0 with a 2.32 ERA in 11 games in Anaheim in his career, gets the start for the Halos on Wednesday.
Williams (6-2, 3.68) is undefeated in five home starts this season. Hector Noesi (2-6, 5.51) gets the start for the Mariners.
Hank Conger, who was recalled from Triple A Salt Lake on Tuesday when catcher Bobby Wilson was placed on the seven-day disabled list with a concussion, gets his second straight start behind the plate on Wednesday. Conger was 1-for-3 on Tuesday night.
