Rookie Mike Trout has been the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim's panacea since he's joined the majors, and has been justly compensated for his work since his call-up with the American League's Rookie of the Month award for the month of May.
↵Trout is currently batting .315 in 127 plate appearance this year with five dingers, 19 RBI and a .373 OBP. Not only that, he's got nine stolen bags, three triples and a .917 OPS. Not bad for a 20 year old.
↵Aside from all of his impresive stats, the most impressive is the Angels record since he has joined the team. Anaheim was just 6-14 when they called up Trout back on April 28, and have gone 22-12 since he's joined the lineup. Coincidence? I think not.
