Angels Injury Updates: Hisanori Takahashi Available For Saturday's Game, Chris Ianetta Begins Throwing

Hisanori Takahashi will be available for Saturday's game against the Los Angeles Dodgers, according to Bill Plunkett of the Orange County Register. Takahashi pitched a scoreless sixth inning in Friday night's 8-5 Angels win, but left the game in the top of the 7th with tightness in his hip. It appears to be nothing serious, as he was able to return the next day.

Elsewhere in the world of Halos injury news, catcher Chris Iannetta has begun throwing, as was expected. Also via Bill Plunkett comes the news that Iannetta threw to the bases in a workout on Saturday. Recover from wrist surgery is slow going, though, and Iannetta is still a week or two away from a minor league rehab assignment.
