The Los Angeles Angels will continue their interleague dealings starting on Friday night, as they return to Angel Stadium to host the Arizona Diamondbacks.
The Angels are just coming off of a successful series at Dodger Stadium, where they took the Freeway Series against the Los Angeles Dodgers by winning two out of three games in enemy territory. The Diamondbacks, meanwhile, lost two of three to the Texas Rangers, although their most recent game was a blowout win against the first-place team, inadvertently helping out the cause of the Angels.
The Halos hope to continue to gain ground on the slumping Rangers, as they now stand just three games in back of Texas in the American League West.
